Our Journey Of Compassion And Love
Our story began during our second mission trip to Cuba with our local church in 2023. On that trip, I witnessed something deeply moving. How the pastors loved the Lord with all their hearts. They served God’s people with compassion and dedication, even though they had very few resources. Despite their limited means, the impact they were making was incredible. The people were hungry not just for food, but for hope, for the Word of God, and for the comfort of knowing that He was present in their lives. I watched as lives were transformed through their faith, and I felt the power of God working in that place.
On our way back to the United States, something powerful happened. The Holy Spirit spoke clearly to my heart. I heard these words: “Do you see how they love Me? Do you see how full My church is? These pastors long for more people to come and experience My peace a peace that goes beyond human understanding. But they need resources to reach more souls for Me. I am looking for someone I can trust to provide what they need. I will supply the resources, but I need you to use the skills I’ve developed in you over the years so that you will know how to make it happen.”
Then the Spirit continued: “The local church has many ministries, but I need you to be laser-focused on the needs of My church in Cuba.” I was overwhelmed and asked, “Lord, how can I do that?” His response was both humbling and inspiring: “Create a nonprofit. Work with your wife, whom I have also been preparing all these years to understand the purpose of nonprofits. She will help lead this effort. This organization will become a vessel through which resources will flow from Me, through you, to My people.”
I asked once more, “Lord, what will we call it?” His answer filled me with awe. “Missions are all about trust,” He said. “You must have faith strong enough to see what is not yet visible as though it already exists. The name of this nonprofit will be FHAITH (From Him And I To His) because I will provide everything needed to flow through you to My churches.”
And so, with obedience and gratitude, we began this journey. FHAITH is more than an organization it is a calling, a partnership between God and us to serve His people in Cuba and beyond. Every resource, every connection, and every opportunity that comes our way is part of His divine plan. Our purpose truly lives in our name: From Him And I To His. Through faith, we believe that what began as a whisper from the Holy Spirit will continue to grow into a movement of hope, love, and provision for God’s people.
